Husan Longstreet joins LSU, could develop into future star quarterback

Husan Longstreet has joined the LSU Tigers after spending his freshman season at USC. The former five-star recruit completed 13 of 15 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown during his time at USC and showed his athleticism with 76 rushing yards and two touchdowns. At LSU, he is expected to develop behind starter Sam Leavitt and offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. Although Longstreet may not see the field this season, he has reportedly distanced himself from teammate Landen Clark in the backup quarterback competition.
