Huskies' fall practice showcases intense competition among WRs and DBs

The Washington Huskies held their first fully padded practice of fall camp on August 13, displaying fierce competition, particularly between wide receivers and cornerbacks. Without Freshman All-American Dezmen Roebuck, sophomore Chris Lawson and Kennesaw State transfer Christian Moss made significant plays. Lawson recorded several gains of over 30 yards, while Moss secured two red zone touchdowns. On the defensive side, true freshmen cornerback Elijah Durr and safety Gavin Day contributed with turnovers, underscoring the high competitive level. Both units are expected to sharpen each other as camp continues, with further practices scheduled throughout August.
