Ian Machado Garry signs with Eddie Hearn before UFC 330 title fight

Garry announced the news on Wednesday on social media. “Congratulations Matchroom Talent Agency you’ve signed the future,” Garry wrote on Instagram. “I’m excited to announce Team Future just got bigger. Alongside Vayner Sports, I’ll be joining The Matchroom Talent Agency – who will now work across my commercial interests.” View this post on Instagram Now unlike Aspinall, who signed with Hearn to represent him in all facets of his career, Garry’s deal with Matchroom is a marketing and commercial deal only. Garry is still represented by Vayner Sports for his management, which means they’ll continue to handle his talks with the UFC when it comes to contracts and fight negotiations. Of course, Garry just booked his next fight as he competes for the welterweight title for the first time when he battles Makhachev in Philadelphia in August. Hearn, who also runs Matchroom Boxing, has been involved in a heated rivalry with UFC CEO Dana White for several months after White launched Zuffa Boxing in early 2026. The promoters have gone back and forth in a war of words through interviews and appearances, which turned the one-time friends into bitter enemies. White has scoffed at Aspinall signing with Hearn to represent him as an agent as the reigning UFC heavyweight champion mounts a comeback following a brutal eye poke in his fight against Ciryl Ganet hat forced him to undergo four different surgeries. While he was recovering, Aspinall signed with Hearn, who has repeatedly trashed the UFC for what the British heavyweight is being paid and just recently went as far as asking for his release from the promotion. But unlike Hearn representing Aspinall in future talks with the UFC, he’ll only be handling marketing and commercial interests for Garry moving forward.
