Ibrahima Konaté signs four-year deal with Real Madrid

Summary

Ibrahima Konaté is set to sign a four-year deal with Real Madrid, following a confirmation of his departure from Liverpool at the end of May. The defender's contract renewal talks with Liverpool did not yield positive results, making him a free agent this summer. Despite interest from clubs like Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, Konaté will now join Madrid after recent delays caused by the club's presidential elections. His contract with Real will extend until the summer of 2030, and he is expected to join the squad after the World Cup.
