Liverpool defender Ifeanyi Ndukwe has yet to make an appearance for Levante since joining the Spanish side on a season-long loan. The 18-year-old has been an unused substitute for all three matches for which he was eligible. Liverpool arranged the loan primarily to secure a work permit for the defender, as he currently lacks the top-level experience required to play in England. Gaining a single start in La Liga would make Ndukwe eligible for a Governing Body Endorsement. Coaches at Levante have preferred Adrian Dela and Aissa Mandi in the center-back roles thus far. Liverpool retains a potential break clause in the loan agreement that could allow for a recall in January if the player continues to lack consistent minutes.
