Ifeanyi Ndukwe's agent discusses potential loan move from Liverpool

Summary

Ifeanyi Ndukwe’s agent has confirmed ongoing discussions with several clubs regarding a loan for the Liverpool defender for the 2026/27 season. The 18-year-old, who excelled in pre-season matches including a friendly against Monaco, is ineligible for a UK work permit and needs a loan to secure regular game time. Ndukwe's agent, Georg Lederer, indicated that talks involve clubs outside England, particularly in Denmark and Portugal, and emphasized that Ndukwe's development and playing style compatibility with Liverpool’s tactics are key considerations. An ideal loan would see him play regularly at a club that employs a high-pressing defense akin to Liverpool’s.
