IHSAA announces volleyball sectional draws for Bloomington area teams

The IHSAA has released the pairings for the volleyball sectionals in the Bloomington, Martinsville, and Bedford areas. Matches will begin on October 13, with semifinals and finals scheduled for October 17. Bloomington South, last year's champion, will face the winner of the Terre Haute South and Martinsville match. Indiana Creek will host Class 3A Sectional 28, where Edgewood will meet the host Braves in the semifinals. In Class 2A Sectional 47 at West Vigo, Sullivan is favored against Eastern Greene. The draws also include match-ups in the Class 1A sectionals, with defending champion Shakamak entering as a strong contender.
