Illinois adds standout guard Lincoln Williams to its 2026 recruiting class

Illinois has secured a commitment from Lincoln Williams, a top-ranked guard from Kankakee High School. The 6'5” guard, who averaged 26 points per game in his senior season, broke multiple scoring records and led his team to a 29-2 record. Williams is noted for his athleticism and ability to impact both offense and defense. He becomes the sixth recruit in Illinois’ class of 2026, which is ranked No. 6 nationally. Head coach Brad Underwood expressed enthusiasm for Williams’ potential in multiple positions on the perimeter.
