Illinois center Tomislav Ivisic returns to practice following visa delay

Illinois basketball head coach Brad Underwood confirmed Wednesday that starting center Tomislav Ivisic has returned to the team. The 7-foot-1 center was recently absent from training activities due to visa complications in his native Croatia. While Ivisic missed several days of conditioning, Underwood expects the player to catch up with the team quickly. His return bolsters a rotation that features his twin brother, Zvonimir Ivisic, as the backup center. The Fighting Illini are currently preparing for their season opener against Farleigh Dickinson on Nov. 2.
