Illinois leads UAB at halftime following a long Katin Houser touchdown pass

Illinois holds a 21-13 lead over UAB at halftime in Champaign. With 13 seconds remaining in the half, the Illinois offense initiated a drive from its own 34-yard line. After a 12-yard completion to Hudson Clement and an incompletion, quarterback Katin Houser took advantage of the final four seconds on the clock. Houser connected on a 54-yard pass that was hauled in by Ty Robinson for a touchdown. The score extended the Illinois advantage as the teams entered the locker room for the break. The matchup remains in progress.
