Illinois signs guard Lincoln Williams for 2026 basketball class

Illinois men's basketball has officially added Lincoln Williams, a 6-foot-5 guard from Kankakee, to its 2026 recruiting class. The announcement was made on June 8, 2026. Williams averaged 26 points and six rebounds as a senior at Kankakee High School, completing his high school career with a total of 1,853 points. He becomes the sixth member of the Illini's freshman class, joining a team that recently reached the Final Four.
