Illinois women’s basketball adds two nonconference games in the Bahamas

The Illinois women’s basketball team added two games to its 2026-27 nonconference schedule as part of the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship. The team travels to the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center in Nassau, Bahamas, for the event running from Nov. 27-29. Illinois opens against Marquette on Nov. 27 at 10 a.m. CT and faces Saint Joseph’s on Nov. 29 at 10 a.m. CT. The six-team field for the tournament also features Belmont, Iowa State, and USC. This event provides Illinois with neutral-site experience and an early look at USC, which is a member of the Big Ten. The remainder of the program's schedule for the 2026-27 season is expected to be released by November.
