Illinois women's basketball evaluates recruiting classes for future success

On June 8, the Illinois women's basketball team continues its evaluation efforts for the 2027, 2028, and 2029 recruiting classes during the live recruiting periods. The Illini have secured one true freshman for their 2026 class, alongside a junior-college transfer and an LSU transfer. A notable focus will be on the 2028 class, as the team recruits three of ESPN's top four players, including a 6-foot guard and a 6-5 center.
