India cricket team faces kit issues before Asian Games departure

The Shreyas Iyer-led India men's cricket team is dealing with a last-minute jersey sizing issue ahead of their departure for the 2026 Asian Games in Japan. Scheduled to leave on Sunday, delays have resulted from complications between the Board of Control for Cricket in India and the kit supplier. While most sizing problems have been settled, some kits remain unresolved. Players will require both a standard T20I kit for a match against Japan on September 22 and a separate Asian Games jersey on September 28. Additionally, shot-put champion Tajinderpal Singh Toor was replaced as flag-bearer for the opening ceremony due to similar kit issues.
