Indian cricketers view AI-generated retro portraits before Afghanistan T20I series

Members of the Indian cricket team viewed AI-generated portraits of themselves reimagined in 1980s attire ahead of their upcoming T20I series against Afghanistan. The collection of vintage-style images, which featured players in bell-bottom jeans and retro hairstyles, was presented to the squad at their hotel in Delhi during a team gathering. Players including Axar, Abhishek Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Sanju Samson, Washington Sundar, Shreyas Iyer, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Ishan Kishan, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Yash Thakur, and Ravi Bishnoi reacted to the digital makeovers during a pre-series photo session. The BCCI released footage of the team inspecting the portraits two days before the start of the three-match series. The opening T20I match is scheduled for Sunday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The second and third matches of the series are set to follow at the same venue on Tuesday and Thursday.
