Indiana Fever staff and players celebrate birth of assistant coach's child

Indiana Fever assistant coaches Karima Christmas-Kelly and Austin Kelly recently welcomed their second child, a daughter named Kali. The team shared a congratulatory post on Instagram featuring the assistant coach holding the newborn. Several members of the organization, including Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham, publicly expressed their support for the couple. Clark, currently in Berlin with Team USA for the World Cup, interacted with the post alongside teammates and fans. In other league news, broadcaster Linda Cohn faced criticism after suggesting that A’ja Wilson’s absence from the Team USA roster stemmed from jealousy toward Clark. The remarks drew backlash from observers, leading to public disagreements regarding the professional dynamics between top WNBA players.
