Indiana football will face Jacksonville State in Week 1 of the 2027 season, replacing the previously scheduled game against Massachusetts. The Minutemen will instead play Wisconsin and open their season at Temple. The cancellation of the IU-UMass matchup was mutually agreed upon with no penalties.
