Indiana football moved up two spots to No. 4 in the US LBM Coaches Poll following a 13-6 overtime victory over Michigan at Michigan Stadium, ending a 22-game losing streak at the venue. The Hoosiers' defense was instrumental, preventing Michigan from scoring a touchdown and forcing two turnovers. Despite starting quarterback Josh Hoover playing at less than 100%, Indiana improved its record to 7-1 and 4-1 in the Big Ten. Miami holds the top spot after defeating Pittsburgh 52-23. Poll changes were influenced by losses among other top-ranked teams, including BYU, Texas Tech, and Ole Miss.
