Indiana football defeats Howard 55-0 to move to 2-0

Indiana moved to a 2-0 record after shutting out Howard 55-0 in Bloomington. The Hoosiers offense relied on a strong ground game as Turbo Richard and Lee Beebe Jr. combined for 225 yards on 27 carries. Quarterback Josh Hoover completed a 34-yard touchdown pass to Charlie Becker and a 39-yard score to Shazz Preston in the first quarter, while Grant Wilson connected with Nick Marsh for a 51-yard touchdown later in the game. Defensively, Indiana recorded five sacks and 12 tackles for loss, punctuated by a pick six from Rolijah Hardy. Backups played for much of the second half as the team maintained its lead. The Hoosiers return to the field next week for a matchup against Western Kentucky.
