Indiana Hoosiers prepare for 2026 football season under Curt Cignetti

Summary

The Indiana Hoosiers look ahead to the 2026 football season with Curt Cignetti at the helm. After a successful past two seasons, Cignetti aims to build on a 27-2 record and defend his national championship. Key changes include TCU transfer Josh Hoover stepping in at quarterback, replacing Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza. The Hoosiers will also adapt to the loss of two 1,000-yard rushers but retain a strong offensive line, returning three starters from last year’s Joe Moore Award finalist group. New additions include Boston College transfer Turbo Richard and a selection of transfer receivers as Indiana seeks to maintain its competitive edge in the Big Ten.
