Indiana introduces Memorial Stadium enhancements for 2026 football season

Indiana Athletics announced several fan-facing improvements to Memorial Stadium ahead of the 2026 season. These upgrades include enhanced cellular infrastructure featuring a new AT&T mobile tower and network upgrades from Verizon to address connectivity issues. Stadium operations will see the addition of 42 new points of sale and 38 portable restrooms to manage traffic flow. A new area called the Indiana Football AAA Championship Tailgate will occupy the south lawn, featuring a photo opportunity with the national championship trophy and various entertainment options. Fans will also have new access to field-level experiences, including pregame tunnel greetings and facility tours. The university plans to commemorate the 2025 national championship with new stadium signage during the home opener against North Texas this Saturday. The program also returns several fan traditions, including specific rally towels and mascot appearances involving an IndyCar.
