Indiana running back Khobie Martin sidelined until midseason with arm injury

Indiana running back Khobie Martin will miss the remainder of the first half of the season following an arm injury. Head coach Curt Cignetti confirmed the timeline after the sophomore appeared in a social media post with his arm in a sling. Martin sustained the injury during the Hoosiers' 52-16 victory over North Texas in the team's season opener. The Fishers native was expected to compete for carries alongside teammates Turbo Richard and Lee Beebe Jr. following a 2025 campaign where he recorded 505 rushing yards and six touchdowns. With Martin sidelined, Indiana expects to increase the workloads for Richard and Beebe. The team is also preparing second-year running back Sean Cuono to provide additional depth if needed.
