Indianapolis Colts release veteran quarterback Easton Stick during roster cuts

The Indianapolis Colts released quarterback Easton Stick on Saturday as the team reduced its roster to meet league requirements. Stick had joined the organization on June 1 following his time with the Los Angeles Chargers. The move leaves the Colts with Daniel Jones, Anthony Richardson, and Riley Leonard remaining at the quarterback position. During his limited preseason appearance in the finale, Stick completed 8-of-15 passes for 78 yards. A former fifth-round pick from North Dakota State in 2019, Stick previously worked under head coach Shane Steichen during their time together in Los Angeles. He appeared in six career games with four starts before his release from the Indianapolis roster.
