INEOS dismisses FC Lausanne-Sport manager as pressure mounts on Carrick

Summary

FC Lausanne-Sport confirmed the dismissal of head coach Luka Elsner after just five months in charge. The managerial change comes amid a poor run of form that leaves the team at the bottom of the Swiss Super League. At Manchester United, where INEOS also has an ownership stake, manager Michael Carrick faces growing scrutiny as his team struggles in the Premier League. Fans recently protested against the ownership during a Champions League match against Roma. United secured a 3-2 victory against Roma, easing some fears of Champions League elimination but leaving Carrick's job in question.
