Inquest into Maddy Cusack's death adjourned until December

The inquest into Sheffield United player Maddy Cusack's death has been adjourned for a second time, now set to resume on December 7, 2026. Cusack, 27, was found unresponsive at her home in September 2023, and her family has raised concerns regarding her treatment by coach Jonathan Morgan. Assistant Coroner Sophie Cartwright KC expressed her regret over the delay and indicated that further information is being sought from the club, including a review of health records and additional testimonies. The initial inquest was postponed in January due to issues with information disclosure.
