Insider predicts Michael Porter Jr. extension unlikely with Nets

Summary

Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. is eligible for a contract extension this summer, but NBA insider Jake Fischer anticipates he will not sign one. Despite averaging 24.2 points and 7.1 rebounds last season, uncertainty surrounds his extension prospects. NBA teams are cautious as they consider Paxton's value, and the Nets have until next July to finalize any extension.
