Instituto 3B, Ação and Sport secure Brasileirao Feminino A2 quarterfinal spots

Instituto 3B, Ação, and Sport have qualified for the quarterfinals of the Brasileirão Feminino A2 after the penultimate round of the first stage. Instituto 3B defeated UDA 4-0 to finish in fifth place with 23 points, while Ação drew 2-2 with Paysandu to claim sixth with 22 points. Sport remains in seventh with 21 points after a 2-0 victory over Atlético Rio Negro. Four other teams have also advanced to the next stage, including Vasco and Itabirito, while the last quarterfinal spot will be decided between Taubaté and Pérolas Negras. The final round will occur on Saturday at 3 p.m.
