Casemiro was introduced as a new player for Inter Miami at Nu Stadium. Following the signing, club co-owner Jorge Mas outlined the process that led to the acquisition, amid an MLS investigation into potential tampering with the LA Galaxy, which held Casemiro's discovery rights. Mas emphasized that Inter Miami complied with league rules and expressed hope for changes regarding discovery rights, arguing the current system complicates negotiations. Casemiro, who recently left Manchester United, highlighted his desire to join what he sees as the best squad in MLS, influenced by the presence of fellow star Lionel Messi. Inter Miami continues its campaign, sitting second in the Eastern Conference standings.
