Inter Milan begin contract renewal talks with Federico Dimarco

Sporting director Dario Baccini met with the player's representative, Arturo Canales, in Madrid ahead of a Champions League fixture to discuss a new deal running until 2030. The move comes as FC Barcelona maintains interest in the Italian international, who was linked to a potential transfer involving Alejandro Balde during the summer window. While the Catalan side remains monitoring the situation, they currently rely on Hansi Flick’s tactical adjustments at the left-back position. Inter Milan intend to improve Dimarco's current salary of approximately €4 million per year to reflect his status within the squad as negotiations move forward.
