IOC establishes $140 million fund for Olympians ahead of 2026 Games

This grant, part of the "Fit for the Future Olympian Grant" program, allocates $140 million for each Olympic cycle. Applications for the grant will open later this year, with payments beginning in 2027. Approximately 14,000 athletes may qualify for this funding. The grant will not be available to youth Olympic participants or those with anti-doping violations.
