Iowa and Washington meet in crucial Big Ten matchup on Friday night

Summary

Iowa faces Washington in a Big Ten matchup on Friday night, seeking to bounce back from a 31-14 loss to Ohio State. The Hawkeyes (4-1, 1-1 Big Ten) are challenged by a tough road environment at Husky Stadium against the struggling Huskies (3-2, 0-2 Big Ten). Iowa must improve its run game and quarterback play, particularly as Hank Brown will not participate. Predictions from the Hawkeyes Wire staff suggest a closely contested game, with several staff members favoring Iowa based on past performance despite the backup quarterback situation.
