Iowa City's Tigerhawk water tower, a landmark near Kinnick Stadium, is being honored with a limited-edition bobblehead released by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. Only 2,026 copies will be produced and sold for $30 each, with shipments expected by December. The original tower, built in 1960, is set for demolition in late August due to newer water storage solutions on campus. The new water tower, with a capacity of 2.7 million gallons, is under construction to support a growing healthcare campus at the University of Iowa.
