Iowa guard Dani Carnegie named to USA Basketball U23 3x3 tournament roster

USA Basketball selected Iowa guard Dani Carnegie for the U23 3x3 national team roster on Sept. 9. Carnegie will compete at the FIBA U23 World Cup scheduled for Sept. 15-19 in Wuhan, China. The Hawkeyes newcomer previously played at Georgia, where she earned unanimous first-team All-SEC honors last season while averaging 17.8 points per game. She joins teammates McKinna Brackens of Arizona State, Katie Fiso of Oregon, and Tori McKinney of Minnesota. This group successfully captured the FIBA 3x3 Nations League Americas North Conference title together in July. In China, Team USA will face Pool D opponents Japan, Kenya, Slovenia, and Australia.
