Iowa basketball has released its full non-conference schedule for the 2026 season, featuring key matchups against Alabama, Iowa State, Xavier, Creighton, and Virginia Tech. The schedule begins with a home game against Lipscomb on November 3 and concludes with a home game against South Dakota on December 29. Four of the significant matchups will take place in Iowa, with only one at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Head coach McCollum explained scheduling challenges and the home environment's influence on drawing fans. The Hawkeyes return 10 players from the previous season's Elite Eight roster, adding four newcomers, including two transfers and two from high school.
