Iowa rookies take the field in NFL preseason Week 1

Several former Iowa football players are scheduled to compete as NFL preseason Week 1 begins. Iowa rookies Gennings Dunker and Kaden Wetjen will play for the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, August 13, at 6 p.m. CT. Karson Sharar is set to participate with the Arizona Cardinals against the Las Vegas Raiders at 7 p.m. CT on the same day. Other Iowa players, including Drew Stevens and Max Llewellyn, will also make their preseason appearances in various matchups through August 15. The games will be available on NFL Network, ESPN Unlimited, and NFL+.
