Iowa running back L.J. Phillips sustains injury against Northern Illinois

Iowa running back L.J. Phillips exited Saturday's game against Northern Illinois with a lower-body injury. The injury occurred near the end of the first quarter, forcing him to be evaluated in the medical tent. Phillips joined the Iowa roster during the offseason as a transfer from South Dakota.
