Iowa State and Iowa have agreed to extend the Cy-Hawk football series through 2031. The extension ensures ongoing rivalry matchups, with specific game dates set for the next four years. Iowa State will host games on Sept. 8, 2029, and Sept. 6, 2031, while Iowa will host contests on Sept. 9, 2028, and Sept. 7, 2030. The series was set to expire in 2027 but is now secured for additional years. Iowa leads the all-time series, but Iowa State has triumphed in three of the last four meetings.
