Iowa women's basketball to host 2027 center Khalia Hartwell this fall

Iowa women's basketball will welcome 2027 center Khalia Hartwell for an official visit on September 11. Hartwell is a highly regarded recruit from Westside High School in Anderson, S.C., where she was named South Carolina's Gatorade Player of the Year. She has averaged 12.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game, making her one of the nation's top prospects. In addition to her visit to Iowa, Hartwell will visit Georgia on September 4 and Virginia Tech on September 18. Iowa offered her a scholarship on September 30, 2025, and she is currently ranked as the No. 16 overall player nationally.
