Ipswich Town considering Derry Scherhant from SC Freiburg for transfer
Summary

Ipswich Town is reportedly monitoring SC Freiburg attacker Derry Scherhant as a potential summer transfer target. The 23-year-old impressed during his first season in the Bundesliga, scoring five goals and providing two assists in 31 appearances. Freiburg may require an offer in the €15m to €16m range to consider his sale, given his current market value of €7.5m. Scherhant's performance earned him a call-up to the Germany U21 team and highlighted his potential as a versatile attacker amid Freiburg's solid attacking lineup. Ipswich's interest reflects Scherhant's rising profile, though securing a deal could be challenging due to Freiburg's European commitments.
