Ipswich Town spends 220 million euros on new player transfers

Premier League clubs set a new record for total transfer investment this summer, with combined spending exceeding four billion euros. Ipswich Town emerged as a significant spender, committing 220 million euros to sign 14 new players including Argentine international Exequiel Palacios from Leverkusen. Despite this heavy investment, the club generated only 20 million euros in player sales. Liverpool also recorded a notable transfer deficit of approximately 230 million euros after bringing in players such as Jacquet and Barcola. Chelsea maintained a surplus of 40 million euros by generating 450 million euros in revenue through the sale of players including Fernández and Jackson. Outside of the Premier League, Paris Saint-Germain recorded a 180 million euro surplus during the transfer window.
