Summary

Iran's preparations for the 2026 World Cup have been disrupted by strict U.S. entry regulations, forcing the squad to train in Mexico. Visa issues hindered their original plans to base in Tucson, Arizona, with players now required to enter and leave the U.S. on the same day as each match. The team is scheduled to play New Zealand, Belgium, and Egypt at venues in Los Angeles and Seattle.
