Isaac Jaramilla-Phe joins Hawaii football as new quarterback

Isaac Jaramilla-Phe officially joined the University of Hawaii football team's quarterback room on July 30, 2026. His addition comes after freshman Maika Eugenio was removed from the active roster, leaving the Rainbow Warriors with only two eligible quarterbacks, Micah Alejado and Bjorn Jurgensen. Jaramilla-Phe previously played at Mary Hardin-Baylor and West Virginia Wesleyan. He expressed excitement about the opportunity and has begun learning Hawaii's run-and-shoot offense. Head coach Timmy Chang is pleased with the addition of Jaramilla-Phe and scout quarterback Hazyn Botelho, both essential for depth at the position as training camp begins.
