Isabelle Stadden wins three national backstroke titles at U.S. Championships

Isabelle Stadden completed a backstroke sweep at the 2026 U.S. Swimming National Championships held in Irvine, California. After winning the 50 and 200 meter events, Stadden triumphed in the 100 backstroke with a time of 58.06 seconds. This performance capped off a successful season, solidifying her status as the No. 2-ranked swimmer in the world for the 100 backstroke. Stadden will not compete at the upcoming Pan Pacs as her season concludes, but she expressed ambitions for future events. Other notable winners included Madi Mintenko in the women’s 400 freestyle and Luka Mijatovic in the men’s 400 freestyle.
