Isaiah Alvarez commits to Rutgers football recruiting class

Rutgers football has secured a commitment from Isaiah Alvarez, a three-star wide receiver from Don Bosco Prep, for the 2027 recruiting class. Alvarez, who was on campus for an official visit earlier this month, chose Rutgers over offers from Colorado, Michigan State, Nebraska, and Penn State. He recorded 702 receiving yards and six touchdowns during his junior season, while also excelling in special teams. His decision adds to a growing group of wide receivers in the class, which already includes Jamar Taylor and Arnold Mugerwa.
