Isaiah Santos commits to Minnesota as first player in 2027 class

Isaiah Santos, a four-star small forward from Seven Lakes, Texas, has committed to the Minnesota Gophers for the 2027 recruiting class. Santos, ranked No. 84 overall and No. 23 among small forwards, chose Minnesota after visiting Colorado and Texas Tech. He averaged 14.4 points and 7.8 rebounds during the Nike EYBL Circuit this summer and was named All-Greater Houston Player of the Year last season after averaging 22.6 points. Santos also played for Brazil at the FIBA U18 AmeriCup, averaging 14.3 points and helping his team secure a bronze medal.
