- 12:00 AMCageside Seats — YouTube megastar IShowSpeed is thinking about joining WWE full-time
"IShowSpeed has 55.8 million subscribers on YouTube, which blows even Logan Paul’s 23.6 million subs out of the water. As far as pro wrestling is concerned, Speed has appeared at a few major WWE shows like Royal Rumble 2025, where Bron Breakker speared the shit out of him, and this year’s WrestleMania 42, where he IShowSplashed Paul through a table after their team lost. Given the spotlight WWE is very eager to put on Speed whenever he makes an appearance on their programming, has he considered following in Logan Paul’s douchebag footsteps and officially make WWE his home on a regular basis? During an interview today on The Pat McAfee Show, Speed was asked if there are any plans for him to do more work in WWE going forward. Here is the YouTuber’s response: Speed: “Yeah…it makes sense. I genuinely think at some point in my career I will take WWE a bit more serious, and actually able to deliver my full self into it, immerse myself into it. But right now I’m still figuring out what I really want to do, you know?” McAfee: “I think you’re figuring it out. I think you’re doing just fine. You show up in another fucking country, and then every person that lives in that country shows up to see you.” Are you on board with another YouTube megastar coming over to WWE with a guaranteed push on Raw and/or SmackDown, as well as starring on major shows like WrestleMania and SummerSlam? Or does the idea of another YouTuber taking time and spots away from highly skilled pro wrestlers make you sick to your stomach? Let me know in the comments below if you think IShowSpeed has what it takes to succeed as a WWE star, Cagesiders.
