Initially, he was already expected to miss the first four games of the season due to an MCL sprain, as he was placed on injured reserve at the beginning of the month. Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell confirmed the length of Pacheco's absence, indicating it will be substantial. Pacheco signed a one-year deal with the Lions this past March.
