Isle of Man closes roads for revised Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT schedule

Roads on the Isle of Man will remain closed on August 28 to accommodate a revised schedule for the Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix races. The major overhaul includes an additional evening closure from 18:00 to 21:00 to help facilitate the event's completion by Tuesday rather than Friday, due to anticipated rain. Qualifying has faced disruptions from inclement weather, prompting organizers to move the entire race program forward. The schedule now includes four MGP and six Classic TT races over four consecutive days. Tuesday's events will feature a classic sidecar parade lap and a commemorative parade for motorcycling legend John McGuinness.
