Items stolen from Manchester United air disaster memorial in Munich

Four medals and a crystal trophy were stolen from the Manchester United Munich air disaster memorial in Munich on October 30. German media reported that a glass display case was smashed with a stone during the theft, occurring between 08:00 and 13:00 local time. The memorial honors the 23 victims of the 1958 plane crash, including eight United players. The Manchester Munich Memorial Foundation expressed sadness over the incident and noted that Manchester United offered to help with repairs, though the foundation will cover costs. The broken glass was replaced on the same day.
