Iva Jovic advances to the fourth round at the 2026 US Open
Summary

Iva Jovic continues her 2026 season momentum at the US Open in New York, where she has reached the fourth round. The 18-year-old American recently secured a third-round victory against Alexandra Eala at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. This performance follows a breakthrough year that included a quarterfinal run at the Australian Open and a fourth-round appearance at Wimbledon. Jovic has become the youngest American woman to reach the Round of 16 at three major tournaments in a single calendar year since Venus Williams in 1998. The teenager, who transitioned fully to tennis during the 2020 pandemic, credits her development to an adaptive playing style inspired by Novak Djokovic.
